At present, domestic building development is in the transition period from the pursuit of building quantity to building quality. To adapt to such development, promoting green building evaluation is an important and long-term work.

     However, what is a green building, what kind of building can be called a green building? At present, for most people, these may not be clear. Below, we will take a glimpse of the current GB-T50378-2014 "Green Building Evaluation Standards".

   The "Green Building Evaluation Standard" GB-T50378-2014 has been implemented since January 1, 2015. The evaluation index of the new edition of "Standard", in the original "Green Building Evaluation Standard" GB/T50378-2006, the land and outdoor environment, energy conservation and energy utilization, water and water use, material and material resource utilization, indoor environmental quality and Based on the six categories of operational management indicators, the “Green Building Evaluation Standard” GB/T50378-2014 has added “construction management” to better cover the entire life of the building.

  (1) Land and outdoor environment
  1. The project site selection should conform to the local urban and rural planning, and should meet the construction control requirements for various types of protected areas and cultural relics protection.
  2. The site should be free from the threat of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, mudslides, threats from non-hazardous chemicals, inflammable and explosive sources, and no electromagnetic radiation or strontium-containing soils.
  3. There should be no pollution sources exceeding the standard in the site.
  4. The layout of the building plan should meet the sunshine standard and the sunshine standard of the surrounding buildings must not be reduced.

  (2) Energy conservation and energy utilization
  1. The architectural design shall comply with the provisions of the State's current mandatory provisions on building energy efficiency design standards.
  3. Energy consumption of various parts such as cold and heat source, transmission and distribution system and lighting shall be measured separately.
  4. The lighting power density value of each room or place shall not be higher than the current value specified in the current national standard "Architectural Lighting Design Standard" GB50034.

  (3) Water conservation and water resources utilization
  1. Water resources utilization plans should be formulated to make overall use of various water resources.
  2. The water supply and drainage system should be set up reasonably, perfect and safe.
  3. Water-saving appliances should be used.

  (4) Utilization of materials and materials
  1. Building materials and products prohibited and restricted by the state and localities shall not be used.
  2. In the concrete structure, the longitudinal reinforcement of beams and columns shall be hot-rolled ribbed steel bars of not less than 400MPa.

  (5) Indoor environmental quality
  1. The indoor noise level of the main functional room should meet the lower limit requirements of the current national standard “Code for Design of Sound insulation for Civil Buildings” GB50118.
  2. The sound insulation performance of the exterior walls, partition walls, floors and doors and windows of the main functional rooms shall meet the lower limit requirements of the current national standard "Code for Design of Sound insulation for Civil Buildings" GB50118.
  3. The quantity and quality of architectural lighting shall comply with the provisions of the current national standard "Architectural Lighting Design Standards" GB50034.
  4. For buildings with central heating and air conditioning systems, the design parameters such as temperature, humidity and fresh air volume in the room should meet the requirements of the current national standard “Code for Design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning for Civil Buildings” GB50736.
  5. Under the condition of indoor design temperature and humidity, the inner surface of the building envelope shall not condense.
  6, the roof and east and west walls insulation performance should meet the requirements of the current national standard "Civil Building Thermal Design Code" GB50176.
  7. The concentration of ammonia, formaldehyde, benzene, total volatile organic compounds and antimony in indoor air should comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Indoor Air Quality Standards" GB/T18883.

  (6) Construction management
  1. The construction management system and organization of the green building project should be established, and responsible persons at all levels should be implemented.
  2. The construction project department shall formulate an environmental protection plan for the entire construction process and organize implementation.
  3. The construction project department shall formulate the occupational health and safety management plan for the construction personnel and organize the implementation.
  4. The special content of the green building key content in the design documents should be submitted before construction.

  (7) Operation management
  1. Energy conservation, water conservation, material saving, and greening management systems should be formulated and implemented.
  2. A waste management system should be established, waste logistics should be planned reasonably, and domestic wastes should be classified and collected, and garbage containers should be set up.
  3. The pollutants such as exhaust gas and sewage generated during the operation should be discharged to the standard.
  4. Energy-saving and water-saving facilities should work normally and meet the design requirements.
  5. The automatic monitoring system for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and other equipment should work normally and the operation record is complete.
